Career Education in IBM Software (CEIS), under the aegis of MCAPL, entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with computer major IBM to equip students to successfully enter the job market after graduation.

The Partnership with industry leaders such as IBM helps us scale new heights in the realm of technical education and IBM's Academic Initiative Program will help our students to effectively meet industry requirements and provide great employment opportunities specially with IBM.

Under the initiative, the faculty would learn to use IBM's latest software tools, which they would impart to the students. The program will enable the participants to have a hands-on experience in IBM software products namely DB2, WebSphere Rational software testing tools and Tivoli. Mentors from IBM along with the faculty will closely monitor the work of the students.
 

The first batch is starting on June 15, 2007 and is strictly based on entrance test from IBM. IT major IBM, in collaboration with its business partners, has announced the date for entrance exam on 28th May and 6th June 2007. The duration of the course is 3 months
